I will not take a formal dress anywhere else for alterations. Lora listens to what you want, and how you want your dress to fit. At other places (including David’s Bridal), you are treated like you are stupid, and THEY will tell YOU how YOUR dress should fit, even if it emphasizes every insecurity you have… garbage. Go to Van Lear. She listens, she cares, and she’s fun to work with.

I would come to her for any special occasion dress, not just a wedding dress. She also does a wonderful job of altering clothes to fit her customers. I highly, highly recommend.

Lora is amazing! She took my mom’s wedding dress and changed it into something even more beautiful for me to wear at my wedding rehearsal held at the Dayton Art Institute.
